Detroit Metro Airport to share opportunities for small businesses

The Wayne County Airport Authority, which manages operations at the airport in Romulus, will host a virtual symposium at 10 a.m. Nov. 10 to share contract opportunities at the airport and how to be certified as a Small Business Enterprise.
"Each year, Detroit Metropolitan Airport has a $10.2 billion economic impact," said WCAA CEO Chad Newton. "Through our SBE program, we strive to expand our impact by helping local small businesses secure non-federally funded contracts with the Airport Authority, especially at DTW. We know when small businesses succeed, our region succeeds."
Businesses can register for the symposium by visiting dtwisopenforsmallbusiness.rsvpify.com. Space is limited to the first 100 registrants.
