About the Event
It’s time for the main event! Lights – cameras – action! Five to seven selected finalists will present their 5-minute business pitches on stage to a panel of expert judges and a live audience. They will have the chance to win one of three cash prizes plus a people’s choice award totaling over $10,000.
The final round of PITCH BLACK Detroit will be held at:
WSU Industry Innovation Center (across the street from TechTown) at 461 Burroughs Street, Detroit, MI 48202.
A business showcase will be held prior to the event for attendees to meet and mingle with all 25 contestants, sponsors, and other selected other agencies that support BIPOC businesses. All audience members are asked to wear black attire.
