MBBA Capital Connect & BLK Print Program
Capital Connect is a 12-week cohort program that helps entrepreneurs scale by developing business plans, financial projections, and pitches. The BLK Print is an 8-week program that supports business owners in formalizing their business, refining their ideas into viable models, identifying customers, and understanding financial basics.
Eligibility:
Capital Connect Qualifications:
- Businesses must be in the following counties: Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Genesee
- NO pre-revenue business (has not sold or earned any revenue for your business)
- Being able to explain how scale your business
- Must be a For-Profit Business
- Must be a Premium (PAID) MBBA Member
- Business must be registered with LARA
- We accept all industries, excluding marijuana based businesses
The Blk Print Qualifications:
- Businesses must be in the following counties: Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Genesee
- Must be a Premium (PAID) MBBA Member
- Must be a For-Profit Business
- We accept all industries, excluding marijuana based businesses

However, as many entrepreneurs know, running a small business comes with unique challenges, from juggling daily operations and managing finances to navigating a competitive landscape. That’s where the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program comes in, offering a transformative, no-cost opportunity to help you learn how to work on your business and not just in your business.
Eligibility:
We look for applicants who are passionate about growing their business and creating jobs in their communities who generally meet these criteria:
- Small business owner or co-owner
- Business revenues over $75,000 in the most recent fiscal year
- Business in operation for 2+ years
- Business with 2+ employees (including the owner)
