Retail Readiness & Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, applicants must:
Be a product-based business with retail-ready inventory
Own and operate in Michigan or Indiana
Have the ability to process onsite credit card payments (Square, Stripe, etc.)
Present a professional display setup
Provide a business capabilities statement (1-page overview of your business, products, and capacity)
Ensure products are packaged, priced, and ready for immediate sale

Please note: Submitting an application does not guarantee a vendor table. Selection is based on product quality, retail readiness, and business presentation.

Selected vendors will receive a confirmation email. Final space and table setup details will be shared two weeks prior to the conference.

Are you a beauty expert looking to grow your business? Join ProsperUs and The Hayes
Institute for ProsperUs Pathways: Branded & Bankable – Beauty Business Accelerator, a 6-week accelerator program tailored for estheticians, makeup artists, and retail-line owners in beauty-related industries. This program is designed to propel your business forward by providing comprehensive training on branding and business planning, industry and marketing analysis, financial preparedness, and more.

Participants will gain the skills to:
- Develop a robust business plan tailored to the beauty industry
- Analyze market trends and create effective marketing strategies
- Enhance financial projections and cash flow management

All participating businesses will have the opportunity to utilize one-on-one business coaching, and will get an opportunity to speak with local, established business owners and entrepreneurs.

Eligibility:

The program is open to ProsperUs grads, borrowers, and other entrepreneurs in Detroit, Hamtramck, Highland Park, and Inkster.
