About Angela Wright

Angela Wright (formally Vincent) was born in Wiesbaden, West Germany. After moving to Detroit, Angela received her Undergraduate Degree in Secondary Education from Western Michigan University, where she became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Angela also earned a Master’s in Education from Wayne State University with a concentration in Instructional Technology. After college, Angela decided to pursue a career in Entrepreneurship. She acquired a real estate brokers license and Invested in Detroit Properties, before entering the hospitality industry. She is now the Sole Owner of three establishments in Detroit: • MIX Bricktown & Mobile Kitchen in the Historic Bricktown District of Downtown Detroit SANDBOX Outdoor Bar & Lounge- An Outdoor Patio Space adjacent to MIX Bricktown. • The Iconic LOCKEROOM Sports Lounge & Food Truck on Livernois In the University District off the Avenue of Fashion.
